Green Warrior Protein Smoothie
Got a big day ahead of you? Arm yourself with this super smoothie so you can face the day like the warrior you are!

Ketogenic Kale Shake
You’ll need a powerful blender, such as a Vitamix or Blendtec to make this green machine!
2 handfuls of raw kale (preferably dinosaur kale a.k.a. lacinato kale)
Small handful of almonds, raw
3-5 Brazil nuts, raw
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1-2 tbsp. Dark chocolate powder
4-6 oz. Coconut milk, full fat and BPA free can
Optional: I’ll often also add in a handful of fresh herbs (i.e. mint, cilantro, parsley, oregano, etc. – which are fantastic for cleansing the gut and liver!
Add all ingredients to blender. After 30-60 seconds of pulverizing, you can stir in 1-2 heaping scoops grass-fed, cold-processed whey or vegan protein powder and for a bit of added texture (yes, I like to chew my smoothie for better nutrient absorption), 1 teaspoon sea salt and a handful of unsweetened coconut flakes with a tablespoon or two of organic cacao nibs.

For some added zing try adding a dash of cinnamon, vanilla, dark chocolate, turmeric, or cardamom to your bulletproof coffee!
2 tbsp. Unsalted grass-fed butter (like Kerrygold)
1-2 tbsp. MCT oil or coconut oil
2 cups hot freshly brewed organic coffee
Add-in spices, flavors or sweetener like Stevia (optional)
Brew coffee. This can be espresso, drip, French press, etc. Pre-heat blender. Pour hot water into your blender while your coffee is brewing. Blend and froth well. Empty the hot water from the (now preheated) blender. Add coffee, butter and MCT or coconut oil. Blend until there is a thick layer of foam on top like a latte. You can use a hand-held blender.
