TIPS:
Have tasty low carb foods in the house, either store bought items or do some cooking ahead of time. If you have things available you are less likely to mess up.
Going to a party? Bring an appetizer or a side dish and a dessert that you know is safe, such as stuffed mushroom caps or a salad, and for dessert bring berries with whipped cream or try some of the recipes below.
Eat something before you go so you are not tempted, have a cup of soup or some leftovers.
Have a chat with your self beforehand. Remind yourself why you are following a low carb diet.
Best to avoid alcohol – San Pellegrino with lemon makes a nice non-alcoholic drink and no one will know.
Don’t be swayed into eating things you shouldn’t, remember this is for your health!

Low carb alcoholic drinks:
If you are going to have a drink choose vodka or gin with club soda and lime or a small glass of dry red wine, but do no overdo it. Dry Farm Wines sources low carb organic wines.
